TASK

As part of phase one, Solarsense installed a 49.92kWp flat roof solar PV system on the Limbs & Things headquarters in Bristol. The grid-connected PV array was mounted to the roof using a ballasted base frame, containing 156 solar PV modules. The system is capable of generating in excess of 48,600kWh of clean electricity per year, whilst mitigating 29,160kg of carbon emissions per annum.

Following the success of their first installation, Limbs & Things then returned two years later to install another 84 solar panels alongside four EV charge points, as part of phase two.

The 81kWp commercial solar PV system now generates more than 123,460kWh of electricity per year, which is either used to power their manufacturing plant, run their electric vehicles with cleaner, cheaper energy, or fed back to the National Grid; reducing the organisations’ carbon emissions by more than 45,249kg per year.
