Increase your energy generation
Each solar panel in a PV system has an individual maximum power point. A difference between panels can introduce power losses and can lead to the entire system underperforming over time.
With traditional inverters, the weakest panel reduces the performance of all the panels. With SolarEdge, each panel is connected to a power optimiser, eliminating power losses and generating the maximum energy possible. SolarEdge is particularly useful for homes with oddly shaped roofs, shading issues or a variety of roof orientations.

SolarEdge’s EV charging single phase inverter enables homeowners to charge their electric vehicles directly from the power of the sun, maximising their solar usage and further reducing their electricity bills.
SolarEdge customers will also benefit from the ability to charge their car up to 2.5 times faster than a standard EV charger through an innovative solar boost mode that utilises grid and PV charging simultaneously.

The StorEdge DC-coupled inverter solution allows you to utilise a battery storage solution and increase your energy independence. StorEdge is compatible with the LG Chem RESU battery.
By opting for a StorEdge inverter you can reduce your grid dependency by automatically charging/discharging the battery to help meet household energy demands when the sun is down or solar power is insufficient.
Homeowners can also avoid high energy tariffs by charging their battery when electricity prices are low (off-peak tariffs) and discharge to supply the house when prices are high (peak tariffs).

- Many homeowners have benefited from upgrading their PV system inverter. There are a number of different reasons to take that step, but an upgrade may not be for everyone. Contact us to speak with one of our experts for more in depth advice.
- What length of warranty do SolarEdge offer?
- SolarEdge includes a 25-year warranty for power optimisers and a standard 12-year warranty for inverters. The SolarEdge inverter warranty is extendable to 20 or 25 years, depending on the inverter model. The warranty extension is available with a one-time payment fee and must be purchased within 24-months.
- Is SolarEdge monitoring free?
- Yes, SolarEdge monitoring is free for 25-year. Simply download the app for free on iPhone or Android by visiting the AppStore or Google Play.
