Solar Thermal is normally the first choice, in terms of payback and cost.
When underfloor heating is fitted, our solar thermal system can provide a thermal store (tank-in-tank of 300 - 1000 litres) with hot water for use in the underfloor system. The thermal store can also take heat from various sources e.g. boilers, heat pumps and wood burning stoves. It gives pressurized hot water and enables the solar thermal to assist the heating in winter. It can easily be sited in boiler rooms, utility rooms or garages.
