Many farmers are realising that solar power is an ideal solution to combat rising fuel prices, with the typically high energy usage everyday activities which are characteristic of the farming industry, such as milking on a large scale.
We can let you go and see one of our installations and discuss it with the owners themselves - we think there's no better way of vetting us than to speak openly with someone who has had a large installation completed already. This is particularly true of farmers, who have some specific concerns about how farming operations could be affected.
We have years of experience installing larger scale thermal and PV systems for farmers throughout the South West, and a track record that includes the UK’s largest privately owned rooftop solar PV system to date at Worthy Farm, Pilton.
Whilst we are keen to work on larger arrays where brown (non-renewable) energy is being displaced on-site, and also for multiple land-use arrays such as car parks or showgrounds, we are not installers of very large solar parks or industrial-scale greenfield solar arrays
If this is something that interests you, we can put you in touch with a high-quality German-based EPC contractor, who will be able to develop your ideas for you.
