Solarsense is a major South West installer of solar Photovoltaic systems for commercial and public sector organisations, as well as larger arrays for private individuals. We have installed a growing number of PV systems for businesses across the South West region - from individual plumbing wholesale warehouses, to ministry of defence sites.
Recent clients include Bath University, Glastonbury Festivals, The National Composite Centre, Duchy of Cornwall and many others. Indeed, we are one of the most experienced installers of large, roof-mounted arrays in the UK, particularly on farm buildings, where we are acknowledged as the industry leaders.
We are proud of the number of systems we have installed on schools, village halls, churches and other charitable organisations - many of which are being used to educate the next generations of power-users. The majority of these systems are saving money, and with the feed-in-tariff, many are actively earning a revenue from otherwise un-used roof-space.
We are also involved in some of the biggest and most innovative solar PV installations in the UK - in 2010 we completed the first commercial-scale solar PV roof-mounted array on a 2000msq dairy shed roof in Somerset. The largest privately owned system of its kind in the UK at the time of installation, this has already begun to net its owner a hefty income which looks set to be around 12% return on investment per year - for 25 years to come.
Further to this, we have completed a number of commercial arrays in the 50-200kWp range, and are working with a number of clients to bring their projects to fruition.
